Wow! What a fantastic weekend at Gem City Comic Con - my best show there yet! Sold quite a few Smackdown mini figures in an assortment of colors plus rule books, copies of my first fiction anthology Tales of Kaos, CDs and more. I'm definitely going back next year! Getting back into the swing of things with this project, this morning I released a new video on YouTube for "This is Smackdown." "This is Smackdown" is the theme song for Kaiju Kaos: Smackdown and its related line of 50mm tall mini figures. "This is Smackdown" is a high-energy tune that borrows styles from various music genres that are often used in film and game trailers. I originally wrote/recorded/released this song last year for the successfully-funded Kaiju Kaos: Smackdown Kickstarter but the song needed a proper video and needed to be released to the masses so it is now track #4 on Kaiju Kaos: The Soundtrack, Volume 2. Please continue to share this project with your friends, family, enemies and social media. Thanks for your support!
Today we take a look at the song "Positarians of Servos". "Positarians of Servos" by Stratos is track #15 on Kaiju Kaos: The Soundtrack, Volume 2. This song is the theme for the heroic transforming robots, the Positarians, who eventually make their way to Earth and join in the conflict against the growing kaiju threat. This video features comic book artwork taken from the three issues of the Slagacon convention comic - used with permission. When I started writing Kaiju Kaos: The Miniatures Game in 2010, I decided to pull ideas from everything I loved as a geek/nerd/child of the 80s. In addition to giant monsters, werewolves, genetic mutations gone wrong, and animated scarecrows, I wanted giant transforming robots in the mix. Knowing I'd never be able to actually afford a license with Hasbro, I looked to the fan community and 3rd Party manufacturers. The first I went to was Slagacon... a Midwest Transformers Fan Convention that had a cast of awesome original characters that appeared in their own comic books/convention guides. Slagacon may be gone but the characters live on! Hydrophone, our first Stretch Goal, is one of those characters. The others are featured in the video above. It is my intention to build on the story line established within the Slagacon comics and bring the story to Earth where the monsters of Kaiju Kaos roam. I have permission to reprint the three issues as a trade paperback and will add my own tale in the compilation. The goal is to release this book in late 2015.
"Giants" by Stratos is track #16 on Kaiju Kaos: The Soundtrack, Volume 2. This organic song and video highlight man of the giant kaiju found in the mythos of Kaiju Kaos including: Son of Gourdzilla, Cornan the Coblin, Nyarlathotep, the Yith, Kodama the Weed Monster, Grimrokk the Rokk Beast, Spike, Kongo, Ragnarokk and more!

Happy St. Patrick's Day! To celebrate, I created this new video for "Errigal of Dunlewey" - a song I released 5 years ago. Errigal of Dunlewey Copyright 2010 Winged Warrior Publishing (ASCAP). All Rights Reserved! Song Length = 4:15 Audio = Stereo MP3 Sample Rate = 44,100 Samples/Second Bit Rate = 192 Bits/Second Style = Cinematic / Soundtrack Theme = A Celtic tavern tune. "Errigal of Dunlewey" is the first mp3 release from our Mythic Universe catalog of instrumental fantasy music. This song was composed and produced by Stratos over a couple pints of Guinness and the sudden desire to release a Celtic-sounding song for St. Patrick's Day 2010. The title of the song comes from one of Stratos' favorite locations in the world - Mt. Errigal in Co. Donegal, Ireland - which he climbed in the Fall of '96 while studying in N. Ireland. Stratos did two versions of "Errigal of Dunlewey". This version is more of a "period piece" that could be found in any tavern littering the Emerald Isle throughout history and features a fiddle, cello, acoustic guitar, bodhran and a few other percussion instruments. The other version, "Errigal of Dunlewey [electro escapade mix]" is more modern with electronic rhythms and drums. Both versions have been released today. This pub mix has been licensed for Fantasy Craft by Crafty Games. More fantasy music under Mythic Universe to come periodically by Stratos and Bailey Records. Mythic Universe (fantasy / adventure music) catalog from Bailey Records Composition and Sound Design. Additional Mythic Universe catalog releases include The Chronicles of Ramlar - Official Soundtrack (Bailey Records, February 20, 2007) and a few singles collected and released on Odds and Ends, Rarities & Remixes (Bailey Records, May 12, 2009). "Errigal of Dunlewey" was composed and arranged by Stratos of Bailey Records Composition and Sound Design - the team that brought you the Origins Award-nominated Universe87 Campaign Setting Soundtrack (Bailey Records, July 19, 2005).

Today marks the 5th anniversary of the mp3 release of "Into the Aether" by Stratos. To celebrate, we're releasing a new music video! Into the Aether Copyright 2010 Winged Warrior Publishing (ASCAP). All Rights Reserved! Song Length = 5:03 Audio = Stereo MP3 Sample Rate = 44,100 Samples/Second Bit Rate = 192 Bits/Second Style = Cinematic / Soundtrack Theme = One for that final mission. "Into the Aether" is the fourth release from Spycraft - The Soundtrack. This song was composed and produced by Stratos and features Trevor Peters on guitar. "Into the Aether" is meant to be more of an atmospheric soundscape than an action or event song. The guitars come in low and airy and exit in the same way. The song picks up in the middle with some fun record scratches and vocal samples that lead into a driving rhythm section and momentary lead guitars; this is our heroes' last efforts before his/her final mission wraps and they find themselves slipping into the ever after as their body crumples onto the cold slab of concrete below. Spycraft - The Soundtrack features music styles inspired by the Bond, Bourne, and Mission Impossible movies, Chuck, 24, and Alias series, and more. Spycraft - The Soundtrack is part of the Universe87 catalog (cyberpunk / espionage / post-apoc / modern music) from Bailey Records Composition and Sound Design. Additional Universe87 catalog releases include Autumnal Slumber (Bailey Records, April 1, 2003), Warlands - The Soundtrack (Bailey Records, April 21, 2009) and others. "Into the Aether" was composed and arranged by Stratos of Bailey Records Composition and Sound Design - the team that brought you the Origins Award-nominated Universe87 Campaign Setting Soundtrack (Bailey Records, July 19, 2005). "Into the Aether" and Spycraft - The Soundtrack are available exclusively through DriveThruRPG.

Scarlet Huntress also appears in Kaiju Kaos: The Miniatures Game, complete with 28mm pewter miniature and a whole faction of Wicked Werewolves to defeat.
